OBSC 2006

Khim (Brunei) and Akemi (Japan) - my 2001 batch SSEAYP batch mates. It was like a 5 year reunion for us, as we had different roles involving with SSEAYP 2006.

Uniformed SIGA Cambodia on the ship deck
SIGA = SSEAYP International Generaly Assembly

After the presentation of 19th SIGA to be held in April 2007 in Siem Reap. I miscounted the number of people and so had to give up my SIGA t-shirt.. sad..

CPYs preparing their project proposal which after the contest, came third place. The project is called "Education Outreach" project which aims to help change perspective of old people on education to encourage them to send their children to school.

Christmas party on-board, held in Nov, but it was quite fun, watching the participants having fun.

quite some changes to the ship's decoration

W Philippines King of Acoustic Pop - great singer. He sang for sseayp departure from Manila port.

OBSC reps at Manila Port

Sonina and I on street party in Manila. the night i arrived in manila and met with some cpys 06 for the first time since sseayp 06 started

SGB's bulletin, 5 years after. Everytime I walked passed that board, I would turn to look at it, sometimes forgetting that it is no longer my SG's board.. Well, at least it gave me occasional smiles.

OBSC reps with ship administrator, Tassy-san, after we played a game outside the COC room following our daily hard work and sea sick.

Crazy pose with CPYs 06

In front of Cabinet Office Tokyo before we went in to meet with many important people there. It was a nice meeting.

OBSC Reps, performing our cheers before we bid farewell to Manila. Guess what song was played when the ship was leaving the port? No, not Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On"; this time it was, Aerosmith's "Don't wanna miss a thing" - one of my all time favorites.

Working hard at IYEO, Tokyo. The second work place after the COC room on board the ship. We worked non-stop during our ten day program. In Tokyo, it was even more hectic and we barely found time for shopping. But working with these people was so much fun. I've never had this much fun doing so much work. They were an amazing bunch.
