No Khmer unicode

I've received several comments which appear as squares. I reckon it is Khmer unicode thingy. I don't have it and don't want it so if you could kindly stop sending me squares. :D
Thanks a bunch.

TGIF

It's friday eve. Doesn't it feel good at the thought of the weekend? I felt a bit pissed off today, by this crazy RCAF plated car who acts as if 'it' owns the roads and from reading an aide memoire regarding the you-know-what-event. But I still feel great as the thought of a special person makes me smile and want to go on working on things I have to work on. :P

What will I do this weekend? Bluntly at first, I thought, I have no idea. Besides housework, I wish to relax. But then, I realized that I gotta go back to the dentist', my car needs fixing, new house urgently needs tiles, etc. etc... Still, I'm happy to be able to be away from this literally sickening office of mine, the health-killer room. And... chat and talk on the phone... Cheers!

Toi, je te manque

Somewhere out there,
Beneath the pale moonlight,
Someone's thinking of me,
And loving me tonight.

Somewhere out there,
Someone's saying a prayer,
That we'll find one another,
In that big somewhere out there.

And even though I know how very far apart we are,
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star,
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby,
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky!

Somewhere out there,
If love can see us through,
Then we'll be together,
Somewhere out there,
Out where dreams
Come true...

Enough is enough

Bring it to UN, International Courts and bring this to and end, please! We've enough evidence, proofs, rights to win this case for god's sake!

Stop playing the foolish games! It seems to me that they are playing the teaser game, catch me if you can, but show out to the world that they are otherwise. A moment they step in. Another moment, out, teasing you. When you are angry, you are wrong. That's what it looks like.

Stepping over landmines? Ha, landmines are only on Khmer soil, as we know it, don't we? Why the greed? Why the cunning behavior?

And what's with the 'patience' game thingy but then the heat? Heat will only give opportunity for others to do wrong but point their fingers (safely) at you. Do do do, as stressed again and again, bring it to UN, International Courts! We've enough evidence, proofs, rights to win this case!

Don't do this -- showing off power to each other -- at the cost of innocent lives and at the expense of building more hatred, all only within the interest of a few.

-----

Being the victim in this, it feels painful. Of course. We have been sandwiched that we almost lost our breath. However as victims, we should take the right actions to seek justice for ourselves. Don't react back in a manner that brings us loss or to keep quiet the sufferings and the injustice done on us. We know exactly who actually benefits from this -- and it's not the parties directly involved! Don't give in to these teases. There is a way to win over this and stand proud and respected.

Been a long while

It has been a big while since I last posted. I did also deleted many posts out of this blog as well, leaving it much less personal than before. I just haven't had the time and lost the passion to post anything. :D

Updates since the last post? Many many many. But I have lost the passion for taking pictures as well so there will be no eye-friendly posts for a while.

Anyways, I have been very busy with work, from conceptualizing research to doing intensive literature reviews to doing fieldwork in many provinces and to write up data and analyze them. Now I'm trying to finish my literature review, but believe you me it is not easy since there are theories and complex concepts involved. Sounds like a PhD program right? It's basically and practically the same except that this is work and I won't get a degree in the end. :P The research I'm doing is a qualitative one although I do take time to attend trainings on quantitative ones so that I won't forget this important tool!

As for my teaching, I've paused teaching for one academic year now. I did want to go back last semester but I had too many fiedwork to do that would affect the time available for teaching. As for next year, hmmm... I have different plans.

On top of that I've been running around for house construction. Still more to go but we're getting there. :D Happy, excited.

My family and relatives are doing great. We've a new baby boy from my elder cousin. That makes him my nephew. He's now a bit over 2 months. Very smart and lovely. Got more of his dad's personality than his mum. He can take after any of them though since they are both superb. :D

I learned alot both in terms of development knowledge and knowledge about people. People say I'm good at telling what a person is like etc. but wow.... what i've seen!

Cheers...
