Research Assistants (2 positions)

CDRI is looking for two qualified Cambodian national to work as Research Assistant in the Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) Programme. NRE Programme areas of research include forestry, fisheries, water resource for agriculture, and the environment.

Responsibilities include identification and review of relevant literature, preparation of field works, field survey and data collection, data input and analysis, and preparation of research reports with other team members.

Qualifications:

- Minimum Bachelors’s degree in any area related to natural resources is preferable. Other related fields such as rural development or environmental economics are also relevant.
- Some understanding of research methods.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills.
- Analytical skills and experience with Ms Excel and statistics. Additional background in data management packages such as Ms Access or SPSS is an asset.
- Willingness and capacity to carry out fieldwork involving in-country travel to rural areas.
