Maids

It is hard to find good maids nowadays that people have started to have jobs with garment factories and many other social things have robbed away the once-loyal and hard-working attitude rural people had. Society has been corrupting young minds. Rural youngs have easily fallen victims of the so-called development and are ignorantly enjoying the dark sides of society, thinking that being wild and crazy is "urban" and "modern". They are helping put others, especially the younger generations, at risk.

Anyways, I have gotten to know some crooks doing business as middlemen between house owners and the so-called "maids". They would bring one in and charge comission and the next day the maid would demand to go back home for no reason. What could be worse is that, although the crook has guaranteed it, actually the girl came from a background house owners would never want in their houses. And the attitude these girls have is just shocking.

Then, you make him find a replacement but this happens again. The crook would make sure that you will get tired of it and not ask him to find another. Or if you want a "real" maid then raise the salary and he would guarantee that this time it is for real. Geee... And even when it is a good maid, they would leave after half a year or the most one year, to work in another house so that their middleman can keep making commission from different houses by exchanging maids to different houses every half a year or every year. This is not told though. The so-called middleman would tell the maids to find lies to tell their houseowners of the reasons they can't be back.

So, maids from Vihear Suor are never gonna fall in my list ever again. And if they are identified and brought by middlemen, then that makes it even more worse.
